Unique Belt Buckle


	A belt buckle made from a World War One sniper plate replete with rust and weathering made with the Centenary of the Great War Armistice in mind which took place in 2018

This belt buckle is a work of art. Each one is unique and ground out of a Great War sniper plate recovered from the Battle of the Somme area in France. It carries the rusting and weathering of nearly one hundred years in the mud. The patina of each belt buckle is different and in displaying it on your belt you are carrying a authentic piece of military history. Of itself it’s a reminder of one of the pivotal moments in military history. These are thick heavy belt buckles as you can imagine for items made out of hardened steel designed to stop a bullet.

2018 is the Centenary of the Armistice and this belt buckle adds to our range of products made from historic metal. The range includes such historic pieces as keyrings made out of the armour plating of a Battle of Britain Spitfire. The Centenary of the Armistice is commemorated as Veterans Day In America. In the aftermath of WW2 and the Korean war America changed the name of Armistice Day to Veterans Day
