Spitfire cufflinks made with original metal from Battle of Britain aircraft. Cufflinks made from the metal relics of RAF Spitfire X4418 which was shot down by friendly fire on the 15th October 1940 and which crashed at Wybornes Farm in High Halstow. Ideal RAF centenary gifts.

SPITFIRE aircraft Gifts

The pilot at the time was Brian Kingcome a Filght Commander of 92 Squadron. He was awarded a DFC for six victories on the  11th October of that year.

The Spitfire aircraft cufflink set comes in a cufflink gift box and with a letter on handmade paper describing the Spitfire cufflinks. The Spitfire cufflink base used for this item is square with rounded edges and is rhodium plated over brass. it has an angled u-arm fitting. The metal used is aluminium from the cladding of the Spitfire Battle of Britain plane. It’s been left pretty much in it’s original relic condition but has been treated with varnish.
