Ankole horn comes from the long horned cattle which roam parts of Africa. The cattle are known as the cattle of kings and the horn has some amazing colourways quite different to buffalo. Whilst you will see horn with an array of colours frequently that horn is dyed buffallo from Asian sources. None of our horn is dyed. The colours are all authentic and natural. We have a Sheffield made folding knife which incorporates in it’s grips a piece of a WW2 flying bomb which came down in Kent. This unique Sheffield made knife is a lambsfoot knife with rosewood grips. The V1 and the V2 heralded the advent of rocket flight and it is fifty years since man first set foot on the moon.

If you click on the Sheffield made folding knife image on the left you will see this knife which has grips made from very old driftwood recovered from the Scottish Western Isles. The grain and oils in the wood have over the years melded together to produce some amazing natural colour harmonies.
