Sevres

Established in the 18th century Sevres porcelain is the finest French porcelain manufacturer with fine handpainted decoration. Click here for some of our other rare French pieces. The French royal porcelain manufacture, founded in 1740 at the chateau de Vincennes was renamed when it moved to Sevres in 1756. By the mid-eighteenth century, Sevres porcelain had become the leading manufactory of porcelain in Europe, and was renowned for it’s technical and decorative ability. Stock number 3364. Oval dish. Fine hand painted roses. Sevres S48 mark in green. Paris decorated and marked on rear in red Bourgeois B. St. Honore 376. No chips or cracks or other blemishes. Length 11 inches x greatest width 7 inches. Price £95

	Stock number 1038. Sevres mark blue with 1839 date as used between 1834 and 1845. Two handled shallow dish. Diameter of the plate eight and one half inches. Stands on a shallow circular foot of four and half inches diameter. No cracks or chips, clean and bright.Small cypher at top as shown. Price £125.


	Stock number 1036. Sevres plate. Sevres mark S68. (1868). Clean and bright with no chips or cracks. Size nine and one half inches. The S68 mark has been scratched through. £125


	Stock number 1024. Cup. Sevres mark in green S69. Hand painted front panel with gold surround. Height 65 mm. No chips or cracks. £65


	Stock number 3391. Sevres shallow dish. Chateau Bizy mark in red. 1842 blue double circle mark Royal mark. Dish is white with single Royal monogram as picture. Clean and bright, no chips or cracks. Length of dish 11 inches. Price £95
